A Heart for Moms.... or Anyone! • TeachKidsArt

Hearts, flowers, and a handmade touch are things that come to mind when I think of a gift for Mother’s Day. So why not combine all three to show some love to a mom…. your own or another special mom in your life?

My friend Hazel McNab is famous for her hearts. She inspired herself with a challenge and a creative goal and painted a heart a day for several years. Now Hazel has generously offered to share one of her linocut hearts with us for free! This heart comes ready to download, print, and color. You can use colored pencils, crayons, markers, or even watercolors with a small brush…. each will give a different effect. (Print on cardstock for best results!) Add a simple frame, if you want, for a special piece of art for mom (or anyone!) to display year round.
